Studio & Store was founded in 2019 by Alison Casson, who saw a gap in the market for design-led, British-made homewares. What began with a small, curated selection of contemporary makers quickly grew after Alison started sourcing vintage lamps, sparking a passion for vintage furniture, lighting, and objects.

Today, Studio & Store combines carefully sourced vintage pieces with British-made designs, attracting designers and tastemakers worldwide. Based in a spacious studio in picturesque Saddleworth, just east of Manchester, the space brings together Alison’s finds and is also available for hire — offering an ever-changing backdrop of curated furniture, perfect for photoshoots and styling.
