Studio & Store was dreamt up in 2019 by founder Alison Casson. Often spending way too much time researching, finding and sourcing individual items for her own home she noted a gap in the market for interesting, design-led British made homewares. Launching her website under the name Studio & Store in early 2000 with a small handful of carefully selected British makers is where her journey began.

In the early part of 2021 after sourcing a couple of vintage lamps - which promptly sold started her journey into the world of vintage furniture sourcing, something that started as a small hobby has now evolved and grown into what Studio & Store now offers today. A combination of British made pieces alongside carefully curated vintage furniture, lighting and objects attracting designer and tastemakers all over the world.

Studio & Store have a large studio space in the picturesque area of Saddleworth, around 12 miles east of Manchester City centre close to her home in the pretty village of Dobcross. The studio offers a space for all Alison’s finds new and old to be brought together under her careful direction. Studio & Store continues to evolve with the studio space now being available to hire, ideal for photoshoots and styling with an ever changing backdrop of curated furniture pieces.
