CARIMATE LOUNGE CHAIRS | MODEL 930
A rare example of Vico Magistretti’s Carimate Lounge Chair, Model 930 - designed in 1964 and produced by Italian brand Cassina. This particular pair have an interesting history, they were previously owned by the late British fashion designer Dame Mary Quant and were sold from her estate by her son following her passing in 2023 (we have an email from the action house confirming which were are happy to forward to any prospective buyer).

To be sold as a pair.
They came to us in very poor condition, virtually bleached of colour and previously having suffered woodworm they’ve been fully treated - carefully and professionally restored with a gentle stain and lacquer finish. Naturally they show signs of use to the frames however this is part of their history. The seats are newly re-woven rush.
