A rare Carimate Lounge Chair, Model 930, designed in 1964 by Vico Magistretti for Cassina. Celebrated for their sculptural simplicity and mid-century elegance it carries exceptional provenance, formerly owned by the late British fashion designer Dame Mary Quant.

Highly collectible Carimate Lounge Chair, Model 930 - designed in 1964 by Vico Magistretti and produced by the esteemed Italian manufacturer Cassina.
This particular chair holds extraordinary provenance, having been formerly owned by the late British fashion designer Dame Mary Quant. Following her passing in 2023, the chair/s were sold from her estate by her son. Written confirmation from the auction house can be provided to serious buyers, verifying authenticity and history.

Originally showing significant wear, including historic colour loss and woodworm, these chairs have been professionally restored. The frames have been carefully conserved, finished with a gentle stain and lacquer, and the rush seats have been expertly re-woven. Signs of age and use remain as do some of the historic woodworm holes.
