A pair of simple candle holders attributed to German brand Rosenthal Aqualux and possibly dating back to the 1970s. The Aqualux line was famous for its "floating light" mechanism. The glass cylinders were specifically designed to be filled with water so that specialised floating candles could sit inside although would work equally well a vessel for flowers.
