MEMPHIS STYLE BIRDS-EYE MAPLE CONSOLE
We believe this rare console table may have originated in Italy, offering an interesting form similar to that of the 1980’s Memphis movement founded by Ettore Sottsass. Little is know about this piece however we do know it was originally acquired via a trade show some years ago overseas before being relocated to the UK. The main material is birds-eye maple with a solid surface (material unknown). Small drawer to the front.
• W100 x H78 x D40cm
• Vintage condition. There is wear to both the maple on the base plinth and to the surface however this does not detract.
